Has been forever since I have posted on here and Twitter, however I am back and trying to get some stuff together on a couple of ideas I have.
HOI3 AAR: Report II
Report II Rearmament of Deutschland END 1936
Strategy and Production:
Production priorities continue on the Heer and Luftwaffe. Several intercepter Geschwader have been brought and placed to protect the central/eastern cities. Currently plans are to have at least 2 Geschwader in every production critical city, however that number could increase.
Reorganization has begun throughout the Wehrmacht, primarily starting with those forces on the Polish border. von Rundstedt has been promoted to the Rank of Generalfeldmarschall and given command of the Eastern forces on the Polish border. The Order of Battle is as follows:
HOI3 AAR: Report I
Report I Rearmament of Deutschland Early 1936
Introduction:
This is a brief overview of the current state of Germany early 1936. I have broken down each area and have written a brief summary of each.
Strategy and Production:
Currently we are focusing on developing our technology with priority given to the Heer and secondly to the Luftwaffe. There is a large investment into increasing our AA presence in cities where manufacturing structures are prominent. Our production breakdown is as follows:
- 50% Heer
- 30% Luftwaffe
- 10% Kriegsmarine
- 10% Infrastructure
Hearts of Iron III AAR

Expansion: Simper Fi
DLC: Dies Irae: Götterdämmerung
Mods: Vorwärts Panzers!
Country: Germany
Starting: Grand Campaign 1936
Difficulty:
I am starting a AAR of HOI 3 with the above add-ons. I will cover all the different phases and strategies as I walk through the game. I have not played it in a very long time so I am some what behind. I plan to continuously update the site on a regular basis, however will only update after a certain period of time. I may ask for community feedback when making decisions. Thanks for reading and keep checking back as you can watch me embarrass myself.
U-boat Kriegstagebücher (KTB)
Interesting look into German Uboat Commander’s KTB (Patrol Report). These reports are translated and are placed in original format that range from 1940 – 1944. These reports give a good glimpse into a typical patrol and events from a good sample from each year of the war.

WWII Archive Site
WWII Archive Foundation
I have found that the WWII Archive Foundation site to be a great beginning step for reference and other great WWII material. Check them and and lend your support if you can.
